| From Georgetown city to ETA office |
If you are in the city of Georgetown drive towards KOMTAR tower(highest building in Penang). Once there in Komtar, follow the sign that directs you to Datuk Keramat Road. Follow this road, keep straight and drive(for approximately 20 minutes if congestion free) until you pass the 4th traffic light.
After the 4th traffic(junction) light, you will see a school with fairly big compound on your left as you approach a flyover junction with traffic lights. As you reach the junction, take a left turn (9 o’clock turn) to go into Green Lane Road. . You will observe another School on your left side and soon after, McDonalds and a Shell Gas Station also on your left, to confirm that your are headed towards the right direction.
Keep straight for another 10 to 20min, depending on traffic, where you need to pass thru a few junction lights and two overhead road bridges before you approach another big roundabout with a big flyover above it and an underpass road below the roundabout.
Keep left and take the roundabout. As you get into the roundabout, make a 3 o’ clock turn where you will be on Sultan Azlan Shah Road.
Stay on this road. You will drive pass University Science of Malaysia campus which is on your right side. Keep straight and you will come to a traffic light intersection (Sunny Point Commercial Complex will be on your left side). Drive straight and you will see Mobil Gas Station on your left. The overhead expressway just immediately after Mobil. Take the overhead expressway and drive ALL THE WAY STRAIGHT.
As you come down and out of the end of the overhead expressway, drive straight and keep to the middle lane. You will approach a traffic light junction. KEEP STRAIGHT. You will see Osram, Robert Bosch on your left and B.Braun, Renesas on your right. You are very near to Excel Technology Asia.
Keep on the left and turn into the left gate. Excel Technology Asia is exactly opposite Renesas. Our office is on the first floor of the building. more>> |
| From Tanjung Bungah beach hotels to ETA office |
The Batu Ferrighi Road is the only coastal road that goes toward the city of Georgetown. Drive along the road. Keep straight as you headed towards the city of Georgetown.
As you approach a roundabout (notice is a small fire station on your right side about 100 meters before the roundabout) to confirm that you are at the right location and in the right direction.
Get into the roundabout and take the 3 o’clock turn into Bagan Jermal Road. Keep straight and go straight after the first traffic light junction. You will reach a T junction with a small roundabout where you can see a small Indian Temple in the opposite side.
Turn to the left to go on Utama Road. Keep straight until the end where a traffic junction directs you to a left turn into Macalister Road or a right turn on Green Light. Take the left turn.
Keep to your right side of the road after turning as the traffic will merge in this junction as the road is a one way road now. Take the first(1st) turn to your right and drive straight into Scotland Road.
Go straight and you will approach a flyover with a traffic light junction below it .Take the flyover by driving straight. You will pass the State Mosque on your right. You will observe another school on your left side and soon after, McDonalds and a Shell Gas Station also on your left to confirm that you are headed towards the right direction.

| From Airport to ETA office |
After leaving the airport, you will able to see a roundabout. Take the 12 O'clock turn. (Your target is to turn right at the roundabout, but that roundabout will not allow you to do so).
Immediately after the roundabout, around 75m from the roundabout, turn left into the flyover.
Drive along as you are now in Jalan Sultan Azian Shah.
Keep straight for approximately 5 minutes and will see Industrial Buildings on both sides. Fairchild is the first to come into sight, followed by Renesas and B.Braun, all on the left side. Change lane and keep on the outer lane(center of the road) and look for the U-turn near Robert Bosch on the right side.
Take the U-turn and driving back approximately 0.5 km, you will see Renesas again on your right.
Keep on the left and turn into the left gate. Excel Technology Asia is exactly in front of Renesas. Our office is on the first floor of the building. more>> |
| From Butterworth to ETA office |
From Butterworth, follow the signs that guides you to Penang Bridge and Penang. The bridge toll requires you to pay cash RM 7.00(if you are not using Smart Tag or Touch and Go card).
At approx 80 km/hours speed limit, the driving is around 15 minutes, before you reach Penang Island.
As you approach Penang Island, the road divides into two. Stay on the left side that indicates the airport and take the left to get into the coastal highway heading towards Bayan Baru and the airport.
Stay on the coastal highway and drive for another 5 minutes, at a speed of 70 km/hr. After passing a cluster of residential multistory high rise buildings on your left and two overhead road bridges, the road divides into two again. Keep to your left, enter the road on the left that shows Bayan Baru.
You will come to a big roundabout soon. At the roundabout, make a 9 O’clock turn and go straight.
Keep straight. After passing 2 traffic lights, you will able to see Osram, Robert Bosch on your left and B.Braun, Renesas on your right. You are very near to Excel Technology Asia.
